Warranty

Limited Lifetime Warranty

We stand behind our final drive motors with a 100% Warranty. Our motors are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use up to 1 year. This warranty is transferable and applies to all excavator motors which are no longer serviceable, in the intended application, due to a manufacturer defect. If you have one of our motors that requires replacement under warranty, Precision Final Drives will send you a new motor free of charge, provided the motor passes inspection. After the initial 100% replacement period, warranty consideration is provided on a 1 year prorated basis determined by years of service for the life of the motor.

How it works:
We strongly believe in the quality of our motors, but if you find yourself with a failed motor contact us right away. If your motor fails due to a manufactural defect within the first year, Precision Final Drives will send you a new motor free of charge, provided the motor passes inspection. The original motor must be shipped to us first and received at our location before a new replacement is sent to you. We know time is important and we will work through this process as quickly as we can to get you back on track.
After the first year, if you experience motor failure, a 10% credit will be applied on the initial purchase price towards the purchase of the same motor.
From year 2 to 3, a 7% credit will be applied on the initial purchase price towards the purchase of the same motor. After 3 years, a permanent 5% discount on the initial purchase price will be applied to the purchase of the same motor. This warranty is transferable with the original machine and is valid for the life of the motor.

Reasons for voiding the warranty
    • Misuse or abuse.
    • Improper installation that results in damage to the motor. Example: Not connecting hoses properly.
    • Not performing proper routine maintenance or lack of maintenance.
    • Accidents. Example: Physical damage to the motor.
    • Using incorrect fluids not recommended for your motor or machine.
    • Disassembly or alterations.
    • Precision Final Drives reserve the right to refuse warranty if the returned motor does not pass inspection, at Precision Final Drives sole discretion.
